PAINTING
POSTGRADUATE (Master of Arts)
Educational Objectives
The academic program for obtaining master’s diploma in Painting aims to develop highly skilled artistic professionals by enhancing research and individual in-depth study.
The training includes laboratory experiences in traditional and multimedia techniques, as well as in contemporary languages, which allow an artist to achieve original expressiveness.
Essential support for the program comes from the use of Body or Choreutic Models.
Emotions, sensations, mental states, and levels of consciousness presented by individuals in specific conditions and situations allow us to explore self-perception (self-embodiment) through bodily awareness—an increased consciousness of the body, of the body that acts.
Further educational development will focus on experimentation and research regarding the relationship between Music and Color, mental associations, and emotional communication in both visual and musical perception.
Each student will be assigned a personalized path, referencing the landscape of contemporary or modern art, as well as the art of the old masters, with additional connections to neuroscience, cognitive science, and neuroaesthetics.
Continuous interaction between students and their professors will generate further variations and enrich the content.
Employment Opportunities
The employment prospects are within the world of visual arts and the related specialized professions: in the fields of artistic and aesthetic practice, communication, and the enjoyment of art.
The Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts will organize, in collaboration with public and private entities, the most appropriate internships and placements to contribute to the development of the specific skills that will further define specific training models for each program.
Students can meet the institutional requirements to teach art subjects in public and private schools at various levels.
