SCENOGRAPHY
UNDERGRADUATE (Bachelor of Arts)
Educational objectives
The academic programs leading to the undergraduate diploma at the School of Scenography aim to provide a training path based on artistic methods and techniques, while also imparting specific professional skills related to expressive and design methodologies. The courses, which are divided into historical, stylistic, technical, and workshop areas, offer students a wide range of topics that contribute to their comprehensive cultural education, with a particular focus on the design methodologies used in scenography.
The Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti goes beyond the traditional confines of its historic building to incorporate features of a scenic tower into the Scenography classroom, including a grid, catwalks, lighting grids, and a complete set of stage curtains. Unique in Italy, it provides students with the opportunity to learn both the concepts and practical applications of stage machinery and lighting technology.
Employment oppportunities
Graduates who complete undergraduate study will have the opportunity to specialize in various fields during the master program or engage in professional activities in different public or private sectors of theater scenography, television, cinema, exhibitions, costume design, urban furniture, and event creation.
The Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti organizes internships and traineeships through agreements with local theaters and the Mediterranean Hub for Art, Music, and Performing Arts.
